Freddie- Montreal.

Freddie- Montreal. This was a tricky one.. but after you you've done all of the most obvious stuff you have to move onto the more difficult ones...Cerulean blue background to match John Deacon's t-shirt..

Lzzy Hale- coffee house caricature

Lzzy Hale - coffee house caricature. This is a bit abrupt and has gone too harsh and masculine..but I like the first drawing..

Kaley Cuoco, water colour 'molecules'

Kaley Cuoco, water colour 'molecules' - One  of America's best comedy actors who is also very easy on the eye. This has gone a bit dark and serious..Probably because her face was in slight shadow and I had to keep that effect to describe the form..A tricky one to paint, but Hey! she's worth it...

80's Freddie Mercury - Live Aid

80's Freddie Mercury - Live Aid - Queen stole the show on July 13th 1985..He was just a man with a man's courage but a life's worth of material condensed into 20 minutes proved that they were untouchable as live performers..and yes folks, I was there...

Krusher Joule - Water colour

Krusher Joule..If you're British and into all things Heavy..you'll know who this man is...His services to the promotion of Heavy Metal are the stuff of legend. The most important quality he possesses is his enthusiasm for all things Hard and Heavy..Verisimilitudinous is the word I believe I wasn't looking for..Long may he reign!

The fine art of water colour adds a splendid glistening sheen of, dare I say, glamour to this rather grungy individual..ah, the magic of  painting..

Ace Frehley - Lead guitar - Kiss

Ace Frehley - Lead guitar Kiss, water colour

80's Freddie Mercury again....

Freddie - Sepia tones, water colour. I know I paint Freddie a lot, but to be honest, no-one else has ever inspired me as much as this man. A man who pushed his voice, his songwriting, his performances to the absolute limit, to the nth degree..

No showbiz connections, no excuses, just hard work and a constant striving for excellence, refining and assessing what you have and seeing just what you could be, to be the VERY best. THAT is why he is my hero...

One Vision - Freddie Mercury

                                               One Vision - Freddie Mercury
Now that I've got back into the swing of water colour, my ink work seems harsh and coarse in comparison. But it does have a direct-ness and a lack of ambiguity that appeals to some...It always seem more rugged and masculine..
