The Patron Saint of Wolverhampton - Sir Noddy of Holder...the likeness is a bit iffy but I like the pose..
A few years ago they tried to give Slade the freedom of the city of Wolverhampton but the council with it's typical 'head up it's arse' decision making agenda decided against it. In other words a bunch of over-paid, non-entity, pencil pushers decided in their power-crazed, passive aggressive, middle-class wankery that they were not worthy. The mighty Slade, who put Wolverhampton on the map, were denied by bureaucratic toss monkeys.This ladies and gentlemen is what we are up against...
