Freddie - I'm going slightly mad

Freddie - I'm going slightly mad
This video was always bitter sweet, another Queen video but it was obvious something was wrong. I have added more colour, more vibrancy as if Freddie was channeling some mystical creative force into being. I tried to summon my inner Sir William Russell Flint...

Freddie, Freddie, Freddie

Freddie, Freddie, Freddie
I'm not that great at foliage, the yellow isn't that bright in real life...
Just blocked this in, in burnt sienna but I kinda like it like this...
Added some other colours and some lettering...

I felt it was a little light around the eyes, so I darkened it a bit..

Lzzy Hale - a water colour, Halestorm

Lzzy Hale -Halestorm. A water colour - I find that for me,women are more difficult to paint in water colour compared to men. To convey subtlety and delicacy of the feminine as opposed to ruggedness and strength of masculinity requires more thought and less bold colour strokes. Lzzy is something of an Enigma, an attractive and sexy woman whose visage hides the volcanic eruption that is her voice. Power, range and emotion are all conveyed in the live performance, but also the warmth and emotive breadth. All hail the Hale!!
